PetManager Version History

This page keeps you up to date with the enhancements added to a particular version of PetManager. Also, like all other software, PetManager may have the odd 'undocumented feature'. Whilst every effort is made to find and fix them, some inevitably will get through. This page will keep you up to date with those bugs.

Version 2.7.6

Enhancements

	added a 'Force Signatory' option to Signatories tab of Setup.
	added a check for booking periods that have no rate applied.

Bug fixes

errors occurred when you open Client Manager and there is only one client and no bookings.

Version 2.7.5

Enhancements

	added some additional checks in Vet Manager to stop blank records being created.
	In Occupancy Manager, after clicking the Vacancies button, the vacancies row is displayed when vertical scroll bars are active.

Bug fixes

Signatories was not working correctly.

error occurred when mouse passed over vacancies row in Occupancy Manager.

Version 2.7.4

Enhancements

added Instant Booking Data to Occupancy Manager. When the mouse cursor moves over any booking, the client's name and pets name's will be displayed in a tooltip type window at the cursor position.

Bug fixes

you were unable to select any vaccinations from the drop down list when a client had one pet.

The over lapping bookings warning dialog box now displays the number of clashing bookings.

	Fixed incorrect date format when checking overlapping bookings.
	Fixed incorrect checkout date when making a booking via Occupancy Manager.

Version 2.7.0

Enhancements

	Added a Signatory drop down to the Booking tab of Client Manager and Standby Manager. This indicates who took the booking. Signatories are managed from a new Signatories tab in PetManager's Setup.
	A check is now made for over-lapping bookings when adding or editing bookings.

Bug fixes

A few spelling mistakes, thanks Ben!.

Version 2.6.0

Enhancements

	Report Wizard added. Allows you to build your own report from a selection of PetManager's database tables. Only available with the registered version of PetManager.
	Advanced stationary setup added. This gives greater control over the look of your stationary. Change the position and visibility of both logos, change the position and justification of the address block. Only available with the registered version of PetManager.

Version 2.5.1

Enhancements

	Changed install and login graphics.
	Credit Card and Unpaid payment types added to Invoice Manager.
	Payment type filters added to invoice report wizard.
	Additional contact filters added to Find Manager.
	Additional contact filters added to Mail Manager.
	Method of registering PetManager has been simplified.

Bug fixes

	Fixed the emergency contact number field in Client and StandBy Managers.
	Vaccination Copy did not display current species list.
	Allocate to Client button was permanently disabled in Occupancy Manager.
	Removed check boxes from date fields, produced errors if unchecked.

Currency symbol support added. This enables all dialog boxes and reports to display the currency symbol of your choice.

Enhancements

	Cosmetic changes to all toolbar and button bitmaps to give a common look and feel.
	Toolbars changed, now software driven, giving more flexibility and allowing an XP look option.
	Search facility added to Vet Manager.
	Now issued as shareware.

No of days was not recalculated after a new booking was made.

Version 2.3.0

Enhancements

	Added a 'Find Previous Client' button to Client Manager.
	Occupancy Manager now displays bookings by colour related to the number of pets.
	The date options when batch printing Invoices are now 'By Check In Date' and 'By Check Out Date'.
	Added an option to find a client by pet name in Find Manager
	Added a.m./p.m. radio buttons for the Check In/Out dates.
	Added four new reports - Unit Requirement, Simple Diet, Simple Checking In and Simple Checking Out.
	Number of pets for a booking can now be changed from Occupancy Manager.
	Added an option to backup the database when you exit PetManager.
	Login dialog box now defaults to password field.

Bug fixes

	Database could be lost if backup path was on removable media and the media was not available.
	Pressing F1 or selecting Help>Contents menu item failed with an empty main window.
	Vaccinations display in Client Manager is now in sync with any Vaccination Manager updates.

Version 2.2.0

Enhancements

	Check now made for PetManager specific database when opening a database.
	sample.mdb, containing 'live' data, added to install package.
	'New' dialog box now allows database creation in any folder.
	Email button added to Client Manager.
	Option to include web URL to report header area added.
	Report text files can now be accessed for editing via menu item selection.
	Help file updated to include documentation of the above.

Bug fixes

	Non displaying vet when Client Manager is first opened fixed.
	Dates now display when the first booking is made.
	Payment history totals now display correctly.

Version 2.1.0

Mainly cosmetic changes and bug fixes.
